Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the GlobalLine CDS platform, APIs, and related services (the "Service") operated by GlobalLine CDS Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account or submitting a customs declaration through the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

GlobalLine CDS provides software that prepares, validates and submits customs declarations to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) on your behalf. We are a software provider, not your customs agent of record. You remain the declarant and are responsible for the accuracy of every entry submitted under your EORI.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the legal entity you represent.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must keep your EORI, business and contact details accurate and up to date.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) submit knowingly false declarations; (b) use the Service to evade duty, VAT or sanctions; (c) reverse engineer, resell or scrape the Service; (d) interfere with HMRC connectivity or other tenants.

4. Fees and billing

Fees are charged in advance on a monthly basis per the plan you select. Overages above plan limits are billed at the rate published on our pricing page. All fees are exclusive of VAT. Failure to pay may result in suspension of submissions to HMRC.

5. Data & HMRC connectivity

You grant us the right to transmit, store and process customs and trade data you upload solely to provide the Service. We process personal data as a processor under our Data Processing Addendum.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for HMRC penalties, duty under-payments or supply-chain losses arising from inaccurate data you provided.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate on 30 days' notice. We may suspend the Service immediately for breach of these Terms or non-payment.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of London have exclusive jurisdiction.
